Our sister association Simius Hircus organizes the Utrecht Survival Run on the 28th of September. The run will take place on the Uithof campus of the University of Utrecht. The 6km version is aimed specifically at beginners, so everyone can join. If you want a bit more challenge, the 9km is the way to go. Both the 6km and 9km can be done in couples, and the 6km run can even be done in groups of up to 5 people.

Subscribe for the run HERE Subscriptions are already open and will stay open until the 21st of September. If you want to join with     an AT team, please enlist here first and then the AT team will subscribe together on the 19th of September. The standard mode of transportation will be public transport, but if there are enough cars available we can travel by car. This can be helpful for the people that do not have free OV anymore.  

After a good summer break, the survivalrun in Udenhout takes place. It is a great opportunity to lose the extra weight that you gained during summer. For the ones that want to start off easy, you can participate on Saturday 21st of September:

• - 5.5 km recreative - 7 km recreative or competitive (1 point)

For the diehards among us, the run on Sunday 22nd of September is more applicable.

• - 12 km recreative of competitive (2 points)
• - 12 km in pairs of 2
• - 12 km in a group of 4
• - 18 km recreative of competitive (3 points)
• - 18 km in pairs of 2
• - 25 Recreative or competitive (3 points)
• - LSR

To pay the normal price, one should subscribe before 19-08-2019. Extra costs have to be paid when subscribing after this date. Not only the All Terrain Challenge is our own adventure race, but it is also the oldest adventure race in the Netherlands, this year being the 17th edition! The All Terrain Challenge is an 8-hour race in the Eindhoven area. You can expect mountain bike, canoe, running and kickbiking stages. And of course a few special tasks, but they remain a surprise and are different every year. During every stages you will be orienteering, you will have to draw control points on the map, and try to find as many of them as possible. For those who can't orientate so well, you can always blame your teammate if things go wrong! ;) It is intended as a fun recreational race. Our route has been set up in such a way that it is a nice introduction for the "less trained participants", but it is also known as a real puzzle among our regular participants, and it sure has enough challenge for even the most experienced adventure racers. This year the race is a bit different from previous years, because we are taking a bus to the starting point to explore a new area. Our aim is to gather everyone that is or has been a member of All Terrain. Last year we had a great turn-out, that is why we continue this awesome event this year as well. So that everyone can keep up with old contacts and keep involved in our association. The barbecue will be held on Saturday the 7th of September in Eindhoven. The precise location is across the small bridge on the other side of the dommel, close to the training area. Everyone can celebrate the start of the new season by talking about all their adventures of the summer holidays and share some good food provided by our cooking committee. After all that hard training you need to get some protein to grow stronger. And since the weather is getting really nice and warm, and most All Terrainers like events where food is involved we thought we'd organize a barbeque on the campus. And after we've stuffed ourselves full with delicious food of course we need to just sit and relax so why not have a movie night right after. We'll arrange a beamer and screen and play a nice movie in the open air. The price of the event will be €7,50 p.p.  The exact location willbe disclosed as soon as we have permission from the Fire Department TU/e but we would like to go for the field between Luna and the small bridge close to our construction.

On the 28th of July we will have a little game night. At Michael's room we will play various board games while enjoying some snacks and drinks of course. If you have any fun games, please bring them with you. The costs of the evening will be €5.

Total Wipeout intro During this summer we like to stick close to the water during our trainings so how about an activity where you're almost bound to fall in the water? We will go to centerparks the Vossemeren where an inflatable obstacle course with around 100 spectacular obstacles are waiting just for us. You don't wanna miss out on this, do you? So be sure to subscribe! The price will be €11 per hour and we could go for one or two hours. You will pay this yourself. If you want more info, you might ask Melanie.

On the weekend of 13 and 14 July we will be building our new construction! But we need YOUR help. There are many things which need to be done and therefore we could use some extra hands to help out! Even if you're only available for one day, or even only a couple hours, your help will be appreciated. And to show our appreciation our cooking committee will provide lunch for all volunteers. So if you want to help AT become a bigger and better association or if you want to be the first to try out the new construction, then don't hesitate and subscribe! We also need to know how much food to provide, so it's extra important that you subscribe!   This is how the new construction will look like. It seems like a lot of work, but with enough volunteers it'll be light work.

On the 23rd of June one of the latest survivalruns of this season will take place. And since this will be virtually next door in Den Bosch why not go there. Whether you need a good reason to not study for your exams that day or you want to gather some last qualifaction points before the summer, this run surely will be a fun way to close the season with one last challenge.

The run will contain 40 obstacles and has the following distances:

• - 5.5km recreative
• - 7.5km recreative or competitive (1 point)
• - 7.5km recreative with a group of 3 to 8 people
• - 12km recreative or competitive (2 points)
• - KSR
• Since it is relatively nearby we will go there with public transport. However not everybody has free public transport so we will also try to arrange some cars.

Subscribe here for the run. Since there is no option to indicate that you want to start together ('samenstartverzoek') apart from subscribing as a group we will try to ask them by mail if they could put All Terrainers together in the same starting time.

Do you have the perfect poker-face? Are you great at reading other peoples faces? Or would you just like to experience the casino-experience without losing everything you have? Then come to our poker night! We'll have a few tables with roulette, poker and blackjack where you can show your skills or try your luck. It's okay if you're not that good in poker and gambling. Everybody will get a starting amount of chips and fake currency so you don't actually loose anything besides your pride. The dress code is formal or AT formal (sports clothes with a little dazzle) The costs for the evening will be €5 To make the fancy setting complete there will also be cocktails for those who want. If you want cocktails it will be €7,50 extra (so €12,50 total)
