GLOW is almost upon us, so come Glow with us!   Every year GLOW takes over Eindhoven city for a week with its light art (https://gloweindhoven.nl). Instead of walking in and out of GLOW randomly by yourself we thought it would be more fun to do it together with your AT buddies, so we picked Tuesday evening as an evening to go together.   But that's not everything. The AC will arrange a little afterGLOW for you with hot choco to warm up and rest the feet after walking. And there is more; the more people join, the more goodies we'll arrange. From glowsticks to money for the tomato machine and even a small game/challenge if we are with enough people. So invite your AT buddy and bring as many people as possible!   Let's glow!   Since we will have hot choco at the Deken van Somerenstraat afterwards, we'll start on the corner of the Grote Berg and Deken van Somerenstraat so you can park your bike nearby.

In the outdoors strings and ropes can be useful in many, many ways, but most of the time that starts with a knot. Knowing your knots is not just handy for setting up your shelter, but is also needed for setting up the training obstacles. So if you are doing survival run with us and haven't done a knotting course yet, this is one not to miss!   In this course you will learn how to make a clove hitch, a bowline, a trucker's hitch and more, and where to apply them. Also we teach you how to take care of the beloved ropes. The course consists of two evenings (14th of November and 21th of November), where you will get a change to practically apply your knots. You are expected to attend both evenings.

Do you want a break from all the hard studying or you're already on your way forgetting what exams were? Saturday the 5th we will try to prolong the AT Halloween tradition to view a bad 'scary' film with Halloween snacks on the side.   We hope you will join our relaxing/scary/refreshing evening with us. The costs for the beverages will be split, although probably the AC will put in some sponsoring in as well.   Time to kick back and relax...or not....

The 25th of October we will be able to enjoy a clinic from ESAC, the student climbing association! It will probably be at the boulderburcht, because we're expecting nice weather. If not, we will go bouldering inside the SSC. We will do a warming up, followed with some instruction and climbing exercises and probably ending with an abs session. If you have climbing shoes, please bring them. Otherwise, you can just wear sport shoes, or there are also some climbing shoes at the SSC. For clothing just wear some sports clothes. The last cocktailnight has been a while so luckily Halloween gives us a reason to organize one. 👻🎃 The theme of the cocktailnight is Angels and Demons so make sure to dress up accordingly. 😇👿 There will be a big prize, ok maybe not that big, a little something for the best dressed up. Theme colours are black, white and red.   You can mix up a variety of drinks all within theme and of course we'll provide some snacks. The price will be around 10-15 euros if you want alcohol and about 5 euros cheaper if you prefer mocktails. The event will be organized on the 20th of October at the Robert Stolzlaan 44 and the door will be open from 20.00 and onward (this is half an hour later than indicated before!). Subscriptions have opened for the Outdoor Valley survivalrun in Rotterdam! There are many different categories to choose from, beginner or advanced, everyone can join. On October 16 the run will take place with the following categories:

1. 9KM solo heavy
2. 9KM koppel heavy
3. 6KM solo heavy
4. 6KM koppel heavy
5. 6KM solo light
6. 6team light

Registration is open and possible until 16-10-2022 (except if it is full). Registration closes 23-09-2022. You can register here 

The first exchange training of the academic year is coming soon. On Saturday 15 October, all student survivalrunners are welcome to explore Slopend's training course in Delft. Who doesn't like a good game of hide and seek? Get into the skin of a hunter or hunted. In this game we take turns to trace down the hunted with a team or sneaky hide away in an alley as the hunted.   When? 10th of October   Where? We'll play in the region East to and in the Henri Dunant Park. We'll meet up at Doctor Hermansweg 80.   What do I need? The game is optimal if you have a phone on which you can download the small app "Jachtseizoen" and which has access to mobile internet and GPS. Not in possession of such phone? We'll team you up with someone else that does (provided we have enough phones). We'll be running around in the dark, so dress yourself as you see fit to this ;-).   Do you want to join? Two years ago our friends at FEL were celebrating their association turning 5! For this joyous occasion they were planning a lustrum gala, which unfortunately had to be postponed due to Covid. The gala will however take place this year on Friday the 7th of October. Did you just join All Terrain and want to get to know the other members while enjoying a wonderful outdoor weekend? Or are you an older member that knows how much fun the All Terrain weekends are?  For all of you we have the introduction weekend! This will be a weekend full of outdoor activities, lots of food, and much more! And it's a great way to get to know the other members. The cost of the weekend is expected to be around 60 euros.
